What is the drying time for Cemfloor?

Cemfloor typically dries enough for light foot traffic within 24-48 hours, with full curing taking 21-28 days depending on depth and site conditions.

Yes, Cemfloor is highly compatible with underfloor heating systems due to its excellent thermal conductivity. It fully encapsulates pipes for maximum efficiency.

Unlike anhydrite screeds, Cemfloor does not form laitance (a weak surface layer), so there is no need for its removal. However, your flooring installer may choose to lightly sand the surface before installing the flooring to help “key” the area as part of their preparation works, for which they are responsible.

Cemfloor is intended for internal use only and should not be used in external environments. For external screed requirements, we offer traditional sand and cement screed, providing a reliable and durable solution.

Cemfloor is produced using less water and energy compared to traditional screeds. Its long lifespan and energy efficiency with heating systems contribute to a reduced carbon footprint.
