What is the minimum depth on insulation screed can go?

With Liquid screed the minimum depth is 40mm

You can install the screed 25mm above the top of the pipes with Flowcem Classic or Flowcem Therm

You can walk on the screed in 24-48 hours. For the screed to receive floor coverings it drys in 21 days at a depth of 50mm or 28 days at a depth of 75mm.

You can force dry after 7 days with a dehumidifier or underfloor heating. Read our drying guide here

While Cemfloor is a laitance-free screed, your flooring contractor may choose to lightly sand the surface to key it up prior to installing floor coverings. This also helps remove any minor plaster residue or construction debris, ensuring a clean and optimal bonding surface.

All screed should be primed before using either self-levelling or adhesive. This is to stop the products being sucked dry.
