Do I need to fill my underfloor heating pipes up?
Do I need to sand the screed?
While Cemfloor is a laitance-free screed, your flooring contractor may choose to lightly sand the surface to key it up prior to installing floor coverings. This also helps remove any minor plaster residue or construction debris, ensuring a clean and optimal bonding surface.
Do I need to prime the floor before tiling?
Do I need expansion joints in the screed?
This is dependant on the size of each project.
Can I screed on Joists?
Do I need a slip membrane or Vapour barrier on top of the insulation
Yes, this is required for all liquid screed installations as it helps prevent the screed from lifting the insulation and forming cold bridges.
