We used a depth of 50mm Flow Classic Liquid Screed over this fantastically prepared underfloor heating system in Liphook, Hampshire.
Underfloor heating has become very popular now resulting in them extremely cost-effective to install. When you consider the lower operating costs there are long-term savings to be gained.
Traditional screed has historically always been installed at 75mm to give the required strength, but liquid screed is far more superior allowing you to reduce the depth to 50mm. This is a double win because not only are you saving on the cost of a reduced depth of screed but in the long term there is less screed to heat up before the heat reaches the room!
